September to produce Sex Lessons for Fiver

DCD Media-owned September Films has been commissioned by UK channel Fiver to make Sex Lessons (10 x30’) a new 10 part series due to premiere in July.

“This series will examine the universal themes of sexuality through the years and from different countries, using the very best of the archives and material that you never knew existed” says Peter Davey, Executive Producer, September Films.

Fronted by UK presenter Dan Wright (F... Off I’m Ginger, Big Brother’s Big Mouth and comedy duo act Electric Forecast with Steve Marsh), the series takes a light-hearted look at the intimate business of sex and sexual education, using the weirdest and most wonderful public information films, websites and clips.

The series has illustrations, animations and clips covering all aspects of sex behavior, including tips on how to improve your sex life, contraception, masturbation and everything else you’ve ever wondered about, and some things you haven’t. As well as clips and short films from the internet, Sex Lessons will also reveal some of the more po-faced and bizarre public information films that many of us will have been shown in schools.

Sex Lessons is distributed internationally by DCD Rights. Executive Producer is Peter Davey and Series Producer is Emma Clarke.
