DCD publishing are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Gottlieb as their new Head of Licensing and Music Merchandising.
Adrian Sington, CEO of DCD Publishing, commented "Michael has been consulting for us for a few months and has already made a considerable contribution, so this is a natural progression. His background in film, TV and music merchandising will be crucial assets to DCD as we grow the division internationally."
Formed in September 2008, DCD Publishing has enjoyed rapid growth especially with the ongoing success of television shows such as Richard Hammond's Blast Lab, DCD’s first children’s programme.
Most recently Michael has been responsible for placing EMI music lyrics on to clothing at Sainsbury's and is looking forward to adding music activities to the growing DCD portfolio of brands.
"DCD is a very exciting place to be right now", said Michael Gottlieb, "and I am very happy to be part of a large - and growing - media company with so many star names and talent to work with."
DCD Publishing was launched in September 2008 as a division of DCD Media, the independent television production and distribution group, with the primary mission to take advantage of often under-exploited ancillary rights connected to TV programmes. |
