DCD-owned West Park Pictures has been commissioned by Sky Arts to produce Theatreland a new observational series going behind the scenes at one of the world’s leading stage venues, the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London. It will be series produced by Ben Weston, a BAFTA winner whose credits include How Britain Got the Gardening Bug (BBC Four) and War Oratorio (Channel 4).
It is anticipated that the series will also follow the second high profile production in Sean Mathias’ Theatre Royal Haymarket season.
